A man and his son from the Finca Solano area of Corozal town were both arrested and charged for drug trafficking after a police raid on their home on July 5 yielded two parcels of cannabis.

On July 5th, around 1:00 p.m. Corozal police executed a search warrant at the residence of Jose Escamila Sr. 48, and his son Jose Escamila Jr. Cops found weed weighing 22.60 grams.

Both men were taken to the Corozal police station where they were charged for two counts of drug trafficking.
