BNTU INVESTIGATES REPORT OF TEACHER TERMINATION

President of the BNTU Elena Smith says they are currently in the process of gathering information on a situation brewing at Gwen Liz High School in Belize City, although officials are being tight-lipped. There is confirmation that the Board has recommended the termination of teachers based on drastically reduced enrollment, but Smith says they will have to get more specifics before deciding on a plan of action. We’ll have more information as this story develops.
